The single is available on CD, 7″ vinyl and digital download from iTunes.

Watch TGTBaTQ’s Electrics Proms Gig Online

The full set from last night’s The Good, The Bad and The Queen’s show is available to watch on-line at the BBC Electric Proms website from Fri 27 Oct - Thu 2 Nov.

The Good, the Bad and the Queen

The gig is also being shown on BBCi from Fri 27 Oct - Sun 29 Oct, as well as a highlights show on BBC THREE.

The band, which includes Paul Simonon of The Clash, guitarist Simon Tong of The Verve and Gorillaz, and Fela Kuti drummer Tony Allen, played their self-titled debut album in its entirity.

As well as songs from their album the band played ‘Mr Whippy’, the B-side off new single ‘Herculean’, which featured guest vocalist Eslaam Jawaad.

The Ailerons EP Released

The Ailerons - The Left Right EP The first release from Dave Rowntree’s new band, The Ailerons, the Left Right EP, is out now, exclusively through iTunes. The tracklisting for the EP is: Dig A Hole/ Waking Fever/ Bonafone/ Roll Over. ‘Dig A Hole’ has also been made ‘Single Of The Week’ so it can be download completely free!

The Ailerons are a five-piece band formed in London during the summer of 2005 by Blur drummer Dave Rowntree, Mike Smith (keyboards for Blur and MD for Gorillaz live shows) and American-born singer Charity Hair. The line up is completed by Grog on bass and Dan Beattie on guitar.

The Ailerons produce shiny, noisy, smart pop music. Inspirations include Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares, The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Coen Brothers, grilled haloumi and American Renegades.
